ELBOW AND SHOULDER PAIN? 🤯
You may wanna look at these two little babies right here:
First of all the word TERES - simply put, this means RUBBING BY TWISTING 🤭As you can imagine, these two little bad boys attach onto the posterior and anterior surfaces of the humerus, so as to be able to create contra lateral rotation.
➡️Minor being the lateral rotator along with the infraspinatus ➡️Major rotating the humerus medially along with the subscapilarus but mainly it is the little baby muscle of the big daddy LATISSIMUS DORSI 😎
And somewhere in between the two you see the long head of the triceps being squished in between, especially with rotation. If you ever struggle contracting or working your triceps to their full extent you might wanna look at the position of the glenohumeral head. Most of us walk around with medial rotation, which means that the TERES major is overworking and the TERES minor and infra are being pulled apart 😭
Going through some simple external rotation exercises every day will help re-educate the muscles to position the skeletal system better. Remember:
